“Zack Snyder Reveals Joker’s Knightmare Motives”

Zack Snyder’s director’s cut of Justice League, known as Zack Snyder’s Justice League, contained numerous changes from the original release, including the inclusion of Jared Leto’s Joker in the Knightmare sequence.

The Knightmare sequence takes place in a post-apocalyptic Earth, where Joker confronts Batman, playing mind games and telling him, “You need me.” But why does Batman need Joker?

During a Q&A session at SnyderCon , Zack Snyder revealed that Joker knows the location of Kryptonite and its shards, which is a valuable tool in fighting Superman.

In exchange for his knowledge, Joker made a deal with Batman, promising not to reveal the information if Batman doesn’t kill him. Therefore, Batman is stuck with Joker, as he needs his help to fight Superman. If he were to kill or get rid of him, he would be sabotaging his chances of defeating Superman.

This scene ties in with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and the death of Robin. Snyder revealed that Joker understood Batman’s vulnerability, which was Robin.

He teased that the Joker was responsible for Robin’s death, but he didn’t want to reveal the actual circumstances and spoil anything for the fans.

Many fans were excited to see Jared Leto’s Joker return and were intrigued by the dynamics between Joker and Batman. Some fans are even hoping that Snyder will explore this further in a future project.

Snyder himself seemed interested in working with the character again, teasing that he might have more to explore in the future.
