Karen Gillan , who plays Nebula in Guardians of the Galaxy, can attest to the difficulties of this balancing act. Recently, she shared a funny anecdote about attending a couples therapy session while dressed up as her character from GOTG Vol. 3 .

This goes to show how challenging it can be for actors to manage both their personal and professional lives.

Why did Nebula attend therapy ?

Karen Gillan, the Scottish actress, tied the knot with BriTANicK comedian Nick Kocher in May 2022. Due to their busy schedules, the couple attends virtual couples therapy sessions via Zoom.

In a hilarious turn of events, Gillan forgot about her therapy session on a shooting day and showed up fully decked out in Nebula’s face paint.

This is particularly amusing when you consider the personality of Thanos’ adopted daughter, who has undergone a significant redemption arc in the Marvel Cinematic Universe compared to her traditional comic book depictions.

Gillan shared a photo of her attending the couples therapy session as Nebula, which is definitely worth checking out.

The synopsis for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 reveals that the team will be facing new challenges, with Peter Quill struggling to cope with the loss of Gamora. The fate of the Guardians will depend on their success in protecting one of their own.

James Gunn returns to write and direct the third installment of the franchise, with a cast that includes Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña , Dave Bautista, Sean Gunn, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff , Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel reprising their roles.
