Meghan, the wife of Prince Harry of Britain, has criticized the British media for suggesting that her decision not to attend King Charles’ coronation was influenced by letters exchanged between her and the king. This is the latest clash between Meghan and the press.
According to The Daily Telegraph, Meghan wrote to the now king expressing her concerns about unconscious bias in the royal family. This letter was sent after her 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, where she stated that the family had raised concerns about the skin color of her son.
The report suggests that the Duchess of Sussex did not receive a satisfactory response to her concerns. However, a spokesperson for Meghan has denied this, stating that Meghan is not thinking about correspondence from two years ago related to conversations from four years ago.
The spokesperson urged tabloid media and royal correspondents to stop creating an exhausting circus surrounding the matter. Prince Harry will attend the coronation next month without Meghan, who will remain in California with their two children, with their eldest, Archie, turning four on the same day.
