Hulu’s remake of “White Men Can’t Jump” features Sinqua Walls and Jack Harlow as Los Angeles streetball hustlers, taking over the roles originally played by Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson.
The trailer showcases the on-court trash-talk that made the original comedy so popular, with Harlow being taunted as a “yoga teacher” dressed in a “fake-ass Richard Simmons outfit.
” Walls stars as Kamal, a once-promising player whose future in the sport was derailed, while Harlow makes his movie debut as Jeremy, a former star whose injuries stalled his own career.
Directed by Calmatic and produced by Kenya Barris and Doug Hall, the film also features Teyana Taylor, Laura Harrier, Vince Staples, Myles Bullock, and the late Lance Reddick.
It is set to stream on Hulu starting May 19.
