The Governator is back and ready to blow things up and crack some jokes in Netflix’s upcoming action-comedy series, FUBAR, set to premiere on May 25th. The trailer showcases Arnold Schwarzenegger in his element, playing the role of CIA secret agent Luke Brunner, who has retired from special ops and wants to spend more time with his family and reconcile with his ex-wife.

However, Brunner is called back into service by the CIA to rescue a missing agent who turns out to be none other than his own daughter, Emma (played by Monica Barbaro). As they work together to save the day, they bond over some awkward conversations, including Emma reminding her father that she’s 28 and not a virgin, and a scene where Schwarzenegger discovers his daughter’s lipstick-concealed vibrator.

In the end, Schwarzenegger delivers his classic catchphrase, declaring everything to be “totally FUBAR,” a military acronym for “fucked up beyond all recognition.” This marks Schwarzenegger’s first leading role in a television series, and he couldn’t be more excited about it.

“Everywhere I go, people ask me when I’m going to do another big action comedy like True Lies,” Schwarzenegger said in a statement. “Well, here it is. FUBAR will kick your ass and make you laugh — and not just for two hours. You get a whole season.”

Fans of Schwarzenegger’s signature blend of action and humor won’t want to miss FUBAR when it hits Netflix later this year. It promises to be a wild ride, filled with explosions, one-liners, and plenty of father-daughter bonding moments.
